Continuous Professional Development for Early Years Practitioners
Join our Early Years team for a range of Continuous Professional Development sessions. Topics will include Attachment Theory, Relationships, Human Leadership and the Role of Adults in Child-Led Play.
These in-person sessions are designed for those working in childcare and social care settings, to help enhance personal and professional practices through relationships, leaderships and play.
All courses are £80 per person, and are delivered in person at tigers’ training facilities, with an online check in.

Attachment Led Practice: Theory into Practice
This course is delivered over 4 half-day sessions and will offer an in-depth exploration of Attachment Theory and its application in professional practice within care and educational settings.
You will examine the foundational concepts of attachment and learn how to integrate these principles into your work to enhance relationships, support emotional development, and improve outcomes for individuals, particularly children and vulnerable populations.

Session One: Attachment Theory
An understanding of ‘The Science of Attachment’. We will explore different theories, concepts and ideas on how ‘Attachment’ is fundamentally core to how we live our everyday lives

Human and Collaborative Leadership in Care Settings

This course will be delivered over 4 half-day sessions and will offer an exploration of relational leadership.
Our professional development course is designed for childcare and social care professionals seeking to enhance their leadership skills within collaborative care environments. The Role of Adults in Child-Led Play

This course will be delivered over 4 half-day sessions and will approach why adults are pivotal in facilitating and enriching child-led play.
You will examine how adult involvement can enhance creativity, learning and language acquisition. The course emphasises practical strategies for educators, care givers, and practitioners to support children’s natural instincts and development needs.

Exploring the emotional environment and the role adults play in assisting and enriching child-led play. Starting with the adults present in lives of children and young people.
