The Biology of Belonging

May 7 - May 8

£119.00 – £199.00

The Biology of Belonging

May 7th & 8th, Crowne Plaza, Glasgow

Human beings cannot thrive without a sense of belonging. Why? That is the question this ground-breaking conference will explore.

Creating a sense of belonging creates a sense of safety, which in turn can provide emotional, cognitive, social, relational and physical benefits to individuals, families and communities.

In May, tigers will welcome leading voices from a range of disciplines and sectors to Glasgow to speak on why belonging matters, and how we as individuals can take practical steps help foster a sense of belonging.

Scotland has seen remarkable success in raising public awareness of the impact of adverse childhood experiences, trauma and stress on the brain and human biology.

Understanding both your biology and the biology of others can help you to see beyond the behaviour and begin to understand why people may go down the paths they do.

We invite you to join us for two incredible days that will help you to understand the biology of stress, the biology of relationships and the biology of belonging.
