Future in Construction

This programme will help you take your first steps into Construction and gain real work experience along the way!

 

Learners will receive training to support both practical and theoretical knowledge in the construction industry. Practical training will include Ground Preparations, Shuttering joinery, Bricklaying, Monoblocking and Drainage with theoretical training including, Health and safety, Asbestos Awareness, Abrasive Wheels and Working at Heights. We will also help learners gain their Green Labourer CSCS Card.

We provide a whole person approach, focusing on wellbeing, to support learners to confidently engage with employers. Learners will have the opportunity to gain work experience within the construction industry, enhancing their knowledge and understanding of the role.

We will support learners to explore their career options, whilst providing a focus on all aspects of construction and wellbeing, which will support their progression to a positive destination.


Civil Engineering

Our Foundation Apprenticeships will help you jump from the classroom to the workplace allowing you to get all the experience you need.

You will move away from the traditional classroom, focusing on practical experience and work experience with an employer, connecting you to experienced engineers for insights and perceptions of the sector.

Learn about materials, mechanics, mathematics, craft, site surveying and health and safety, as well as emerging industry topics such as Digital engineering, sustainability and mental health in Construction, to stay on top of the game.

Move forward to college, university, employment, or a modern apprenticeship and pursue a career as Civil Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Architect, Technician and more.
